Aimee Perkins LMT #7954
Since 2001, Aimee has been helping clients get in touch with their bodies and educating them on how the body is connected. After a session with Aimee, clients report feeling more relaxed and have reduced muscle tension. Aimee strives to honor the needs of each client while they are on the table, and understands that every visit may require a different approach. Over the years, Aimee has taken continuing education courses on many healing therapies, including gua sha, psoas muscle release, deep tissue techniques, and myofascial release method, among others.
Aimee received her massage education at Oregon School of Massage and was granted her Oregon license in December 2001. Since then, Aimee has operated her own practice and worked at some of Portland’s finest spas. She spent more than three years at Health Quest Day Spa working on clients rehabilitating injuries. Previously, she earned a bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Iowa and a “Ducktorate” degree from Disney University.
Aimee’s scope of practice includes sports, Swedish, stretching, and deep tissue massage. Her intention in each massage session is to increase clients’ range of motion and to decrease muscle tension.
When Aimee is not helping clients relax, she can be found in her kitchen experimenting with new recipes, watching a French film with her husband, or reading.
